Doctor Who: The King’s Dragon

I’m delighted to be writing an Eleventh Doctor novel, titled The King’s Dragon!

In other news, Big Finish, producers of Doctor Who audios, are inviting pitches from new writers for a one-off, 25-minute Fifth Doctor and Nyssa audio adventure: more information here. Deadline Monday 1st February, so hurry up!

    Sounds fun! By chance I bought an anthology of recent sf – and realized it had one of your stories in it (‘Sea Change’) which I very much enjoyed.

    I’m having a tremendous amount of fun with it, hardly work at all. Glad you liked “Sea Change!” That story has been very good to me.

    Hi Una,

    Your DS9 books have been, by far, the best ever written. Believe it or not, I’m not prone to hyperbole.

    Will the editors of the Doctor Who range allow you to achieve the kind of depth that you did with Hollow Men? I know the target audiences for the two series are completely different – hardcore middle-aged ST fans vs. 10-14 year olds, but we all know that most of the WHO books are really read by hardcore middle-aged DW fans like me.

    If you can bring in just a fraction of the depth and emotion of Hollow Men or Never Ending Sacrifice into WHO, we WHO fans will be all the better off for it.

    Hi Jason! Thank you very much for your lovely comments about the books! I hope that my Who book will appeal to the 10-14 year old that’s in all of us, just like the show does :-)

    I clicked through to your website and was very interested to read about your wife’s book. Her UK publishers put out one of my favourite books that my reading group has read: Clare Morrall’s “Astonishing Splashes of Colour”. I’ve ordered your wife’s book and I’m looking forward to reading it.
